This webpack contains latest fixes and enhancements as below:

PCL :

  • Fixed Acrobat 6.0 2byte Character printing error
  • Fixed the common printing error with paper sizes Letter, Poster(3x3), Overlap(0 mm)and Watermark(Draft).
  • Improved the operation of Dell 1600n and 1815dn printers when the drivers are installed in the same PC.

    WIA :

  • Added support for Arabic, Greek and Turkish to duplex custom User Interface. Now UI is able to: * Support duplex scan in hidden mode. * Send correct error code to application. * Disable one page scan function through registry because of H/W duplex restriction.
  • Fixed the character cut off in the Phonebook list box.
  • Fixed the issue of Add and Modify buttons on PSU graying out.

    Twain :

  • Fixed “About” dialogue of “Help” menu is not working properly.
  • Fixed duplex option as long or short edge binding is not changed properly.
  • Fixed the wrong default binding option of ADF Duplexer.
  • Applied smart auto function to Twain2 driver.
  • Fixed, when set is in Powersave mode and if scan is run in Twain window an error message gets display initially.
  • Fixed the issue of image is not scanned in Gray 256 scales mode properly.
  • Fixed the issue of prescan preview for some options are completely different than the actual Scan.
  • Fixed the issue of taking long time to process extra white area.
  • Fixed, scan area doesn't center even if user select "ADF Duplex" option.
  • Fixed the issue of "Rectangular Mark" is moved out side the image area.
  • Fixed the issue of document source showing ADF even after pressing 'Reset'.
  • Applied New WIA installer (v1.36)

    PSU:

  • Fixed Phone number input length (1~46)

    ScanToPC:

  • Modified 1815dn ScanToPC's Windows name for better customer experience.
  • Fixed “Default directory issue”.

    PC-FAX:

  • Changed the PCFax driver name to Dell 1815 Fax from Dell PC Fax for better customer experience.
  • Fixed the issue of last unit (300.00) not visible when the Image if rotated by 90 degrees in ADF.
  • Fixed the issue of preview image is not seen completely.
  • Fixed installation problem of not installing after uninstalling previous version.

    User’s Guide: User's Guide updated to reflect the default user name as “admin” and default password is left blank (NULL).
